Barney is a friendly dinosaur that stars in a PBS show for pre-schoolers. Each episode has one lesson the addresses young children to learn in a fun and educational way. Barney has lots of friends to help him. His friend include Baby Bop, BJ, and lots of other guests. Barney has no problems making friends.

Barney is a six-foot tall dinosaur with a heart of gold. He is a plush toy that comes to life only through the strong-willed imagination of a child. He comes to life to help the children use their imagination and think creatively to learn and solve problems effectively.

Baby Bop is a three year-old child that keeps Barney busy with her questions about why things are they way they are. She has a strong curiousity which is why small children love watching her. She is definitely someone that young children can get to know and love.

BJ is the older brother to Baby Bop. He is seven years old and loves hanging out with his friends and having fun. He sometimes gets annoyed with Baby Bop, but that is just normal sibling rivalry. He secretly likes looking out for his younger sister.
