With the Cabbage Patch Kids, children were able to feel that they were getting a real baby. Each doll came with a unique birth certificate and adoption papers. Children across the world felt they had a baby to call their own.

Their outfits consisted of a disposable diaper, booties or white socks and either t-strap or lace up vinyl shoes, and a huge variety of clothing with different colors and fabrics. These outfits included rompers, dresses, sleepers, jogging suites, football sweats, and casual attire. They each had a one of a kind name that was chosen by computer.

The kids were 16" tall and had Xavier Roberts' signature on their bottom. Their bodies had fingers, toes, elbows, wrists, knees, a bottom, ankles, and a belly button. They each had a body tag sewn into their side. On the back of their neck is the headmold #. Their arms are stretched outward waiting to be hugged.

Kids also came with a birth certificate, adoption papers and a personality card located in an envelope. (Either pink for girls, or blue for boys). They also had a hang tag wrapped around their wrist. This had the legend of the Cabbage Patch Kids written on it. The box they came in were yellow and green with a cellophane window in the front. The envelope that contained the papers were glued inside.

o this day, there are still a large number of people who collect the Cabbage Patch Kids dolls. The dolls are very cute and fun to collect for children of ALL ages.
