Wallace & Gromit are feature movies such as "A Grand Day Out", "The Wrong Trousers" and "A Close Shave". For those who don't know a thing about Wallace and Gromit: They are the creations of Nick Park, the most prominent animator in the service of Aardman Animations.

As you will have realized by now, Wallace & Gromit are claymation figures but Nick Park brings them to life. Wallace is a man, Gromit's master and a practical inventor. Gromit is the dog, and although he never says a word the expressions Nick gives him speak volumes, and show us exactly what Gromit is thinking. This lets us see just how hot an animator Nick Park is. He's also done movies like creature comforts and Chicken Run. Personally, my favourite is Creature Comforts, it's really cute.

The creator, Nick Park was born in Preston, Lancashire (England) in 1958. He first grew fond of animation while in school and the first films he made were done while he was thirteen, in his parents attic. One of his earliest works entitled "Archie's Concrete Nightmare" was shown on BBC Television in 1975. Nick completed a BA degree in Communication Arts at Sheffield England Art School in 1980 and in the same year went on to study animation at the National Film and Television School in Beaconsfield

Wallace and Gromit is just one of his many projects and it shows that his talent can lead to childrens entertainment which is full of adult humour. A combination that is really hard to pull off successfully. He succeeds and wins acadamy awards for it.
