Pigs love to eat and the proper amount of food he/she gets is very important. There are several companies that make mini pig chow. These feeds are designed for pigs and should be one of the major components of their diet.

Pigs do not sweat! Actually the only place they 'sweat' is out of the top end of their nose! You will see little tiny droplets of water forming there. To help them keep cool during those hot summer days you will need a nice mud hole. Rolling around in the mud hole cools them off by covering them in cool mud. Plus, caked on mud keeps insects from getting to their skin.

Make sure your pig always has access to lots of clean drinking water. Pigs also like fruit juice. If you mix a little bit of fruit juice in your pig's water he/she will love you for it!

Pigs are misunderstood in many ways. Many people think of them as portly and stupid, but they are actually quite intelligent. (They are naturally lean, too, unless they are overfed by humans.) Pigs are smarter than any other domestic animal.
