This
show was dubbed into English by DiC and Bandai.
They have released 65 episodes, along with
17 new episodes recently. MixxZine has also
been translating the manga, but there have
been so many weird things going on about that
you might want to check Eye on Mixx for specific
details. However, Sailor Moon ended in Japan
February of 1997, at episode 200. The manga
ended in March at vol. 18.
One
day, Usagi Tsukino, a 15 year old school girl,
helped a small cat that was being mistreated
by naughty children. The cat, which was called
Luna, explained that she was the reincarnation
of a Lunar Princess called Princess Serenity.
Luna teaches her how to transform herself
into Sailor Moon. Together with the help of
her friends, Sailor Venus, Sailor Mars, Sailor
Jupiter and Sailor Mercury, she can fight
against the evil forces of Queen Beryl.

Sailor
Moon (a.k.a. Princess Serenity, Neo-Queen
Serenity, Super Sailor Moon, and Eternal Sailor
Moon) is the sailor-suited crybaby as well
as superheroine. Though a klutzy, ditzy girl,
she is heir apparent to the throne of Crystal
Tokyo of the future (along with her husband,
King Endymion). She is the most compassionate
and caring of all the Senshi, and never fails
to believe in her comrades in times of need.
As
the girl with the odango-atama, Usagi Tsukino
goes to Juuban High School along with some
of the other Senshi. Arguably, she is the
most powerful of them all, since she killed
all of them in the Sailor Stars manga. Nonetheless,
the Senshi protect her because she is the
Princess of the White Moon, and is integral
to the future of Crystal Tokyo. She is also
the carrier of the ginzuishou, the powerful
silver crystal which has been called upon
several times (not only by Usagi, but Chibiusa)
to fight evil.
