His best friend is Shaggy Rogers and the duo lives for Scooby Snacks. (AKA ACID) He always there, brave in the face of danger, ready to save the day.

SHAGGY ROGERS: Shaggy has appeared in every Scooby Doo episode. Casey Casem, the famous radio DJ is the voice for Scooby's faithful sidekick. Shaggy and Scooby are both cowards. DAPHNE BLAKE: The voice of this"Miss Priss" of the Scooby group was played by Heather North. Her nickname on the show is often Dangerprone Daphne. Daphne is credited for giving Mystery Inc. its start by funding the missions. It is also speculated that Fred and she share a quiet romance during the course of the show -- of course, this is all from the imaginations of dedicated fans. Although some viewers can't stand the rich valley girl and others love her. Daphne definitely gave the show certain amount of eloquence that intrigued viewers and kept them glued to the screen.

VELMA: The brains of the operation. She appears to know a little about everything. She's familiar with all kinds of different ethnic customs, natural resources, and science. Would kick butt if ever on Jeopardy! Her only handicap is her glasses. If she loses them she's as blind as a Bat.

SCRAPPY DOO: He's Scooby Doo's Nephew. He was introduced in later versions of the show as a gimick to get more young children to watch. But he's still a great part of the Scooby Gang.

SCOOBY DUM: Scooby's cousin. Not the brightest of guys, he can occasionally be funny.
