Peter Parker lived with his Aunt May and Uncle Ben since his parents were killed in a plane crash. Although extremely bright, his shyness and intellect often caused him to be very unpopular with his peers.

During an exhibition on radiation, Peter gets bitten by a radioactive spider that ends up giving him unusual powers, super human strength, the abilities of a spider and a ESP like "Spider Sense" for danger. He becomes Spiderman.
