Sesame Street has been on the air for over thirty years. Some of the characters have changed, but its missions to teach the alphabet, how to count, how to observe, and how to be a friend still remain the same. All our favourite characters are still there - Big Bird, Ernie, Bert, Grover, Oscar the Grouch, and Elmo!

Elmo - a furry, soft, red young monster that is very friendly. Because of his age, Elmo speaks in the way that most kids do. Not saying 'I' but refers to himself as 'Elmo'.

Ernie and Bert are the best of friends. Though both have different characters, they do get along very well. They have different hobbies. Bert collects paperclips, bottlecaps, loves pigeons. Ernie loves his rubber ducky. Bert is the quieter of the two and Ernie is the bubbly and noiser one. Ernie annoys Bert with his neverending questions especially when Bert is trying to sleep.
