The story of four friends - Dipsy, Tinky Winky, Laa-Laa, Po. They love to bump tummies and bottoms and make silly noises. They receive pictures on their tummies.

What do they like to do for fun? They hug a lot. They hug to say hello, when they meet, and whenever they feel like it.

What do they do when things go wrong? They say 'uh-oh' when things go wrong or when they know that something bad is going to happen. Teletubbies are very curious and they love each other a lot.

They like to show each other things and they say 'thank you' when they receive something.

Other things that are in the Teletubbies world are the Magic Windmill - magical things happen whenever the windmill spins, the Superdome - this is their home, Voice Trumpets - the Teletubbies stop whatever they are doing to listen to voices/music over the speakers that appear randomly, and last but not least is the Noo-Noo - the noisy vacuum cleaner that makes sure to keep the superdome clean.
